You can sign up to do professional qualifications such as an NVQ, or a Leadership Programme run with the Chartered Management Institute, which offers qualifications at different levels and it’s all paid for on your behalf by Framework.

Annual Leave

Annual leave entitlement starts at 32 days a year, including Bank Holidays, rising by 1 day every two years to 37 days.
You can bank up to one week each year towards a short career break of up to 6 months in the future.

Pay Rises

Your starting salary is based on 90% of the rate for the job. After you have completed your first year of service, your salary will rise to 95% and after 2 years to 100% In addition to this, Framework normally awards a cost of living increase each year on 1st April.


Childcare - Framework operates a scheme with Busy Bees to help you make savings on childcare of up to £1000 a year. You will also receive access to a range of discounts at more than 2000 retailers including all the major high street shops and supermarkets.

Cycle 2 Work - Employees can purchase bikes through the Cycle 2 Work scheme, which saves tax and national insurance on the cost of the bike.

Gym membership – Employees can get a discounted rate for a number of gyms throughout the East Midlands, including Nuffield Health, Fitness First, Bannantynes and Nottingham City Council Leisure.

Employee Assistance Programme

The Employee Assistance Programme is a FREE service for all employees and their family members, which can be accessed 24 hours, 7 days a week. It provides confidential support, counselling, advice and guidance on a wide range of personal and family issues.

Sick Pay

During your first year of employment, if you are off sick you will receive 90% pay for one month. This rises to six months at 90% pay and six months at half pay after 6 years service.

Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Parental Leave

Statutory maternity pay is enhanced to half your normal salary for the first six months of maternity leave. Paternity leave is full pay for 2 weeks. Adoption leave is also enhanced. Parental leave is in line with statutory rights.


Framework has a stakeholder scheme with Scottish Widows. You need to contribute a minimum of 1% of your salary and Framework will match your contribution up to a maximum of 5%.

Life Assurance

If you pass away while employed by Framework, a nominated member of your family could receive three times your annual salary. This is subject to Trustee approval.
