Role description

Framework has recently won a contract to deliver Employment Advocacy for people experiencing mental health difficulties in Nottinghamshire. 

Framework needs to employ an Employment Advocate based in Nottingham City/Conurbation. 

The role of the advocate would be to offer Information, advice and guidance to all referrals into the service and to offer case management and support to those with aspirations to work.

The Advocate will have targets that they need to reach in terms of referrals into the service and numbers entering work, so potential applicants will need to feel comfortable and able to work under this pressure.

 You will need to be:

  • Motivated
  • Inspirational
  • Target driven
You will have:
  • A driving  licence and access to a car
  • Knowledge of, and preferably experience of, working with people with mental health issues
  • IAG Level 3 or a willingness to undertake training to achieve this qualification
  • An understanding of effective practice in getting people to take up employment opportunities

Location: We are looking for people with local knowledge of the conurbation. Staff will work from home and will be supplied with a laptop and access to the Framework network.
