Bricklaying course
An accredited six week course (OCN Level1); attendance is 2 days per week.
Skills covered
- Bricklaying skills
- Building a single brick wide wall
- Trowel skills
- Block paving.
At the end of the course you will understand how to use the tools, materials and techniques associated with painting and decorating.
Candidates who successfully complete the course can progress to volunteer or be a trainee on a real building site.
Who can apply?
To be able to apply for this course you must be:
- Aged 16 or over
- Prepared to commit to the attendance required for the course
- Able to travel to the venue in Nottingham
- Able to work in small groups
- Physically capable of the tasks.
