Floating Support is a free service for people who are struggling to remain in their own homes. It is available to single people, couples and families from all communities, including people with mental health, alcohol or drug problems. The support is temporary and will be provided for as long as it is needed. Its aim is to enable people to live as independently as possible.
Floating Support can provide help and advice in a lot of different areas, including:
In most cases, if you are allocated a support space we will come and see you at home. You will get a dedicated support worker who will work with you to identify and overcome any issues you have that are putting your home at risk.
When you and your support worker agree that you no longer need support, it will go to someone else who needs it. But if you feel you need advice again in the future, you can get in touch again.
Call Framework's Central Access Point on Freephone 0800 055 6184, where you can talk to someone about what support is available to suit you.
