The Client Commission

The Client Commission is a forum that enables the people that use Framework’s services to contribute to how they are delivered and developed. The Client Commission has been meeting regularly for the last three years. The Commission discusses key issues, interviews members of staff, reviews policy and procedure documents and prepares reports for the Service User Advisory Group and the Board.

The Client Commission is open to everyone who uses our services. What is discussed at the meetings and who is invited to attend is decided by service users. The commission is responsible for electing representatives to the Service User Advisory Group who will report their findings to the board and propose changes in policy and procedure. Framework values the role that the commission plays in influencing the management and development of our services. People that have attended Client Commission meetings have said:

“The Client Commission was confirmation to me that service users do have a positive voice in the running of Framework, even at Board Level”.

“Attending the Client Commission was a fantastic step forward in my recovery”.

“We have seen how services work and we are able to comment to shape services for the benefit of future service users”.
