Volunteering Masthead

Framework offers volunteers opportunities to meet new challenges and new people, and develop a range of skills and experience within a dynamic, positive, friendly and supportive working environment.

Volunteers make a major contribution to the work Framework does, by:

  • Giving their time to enhance Framework’s activities and services
  • Contributing a variety of valuable skills and experience
  • Bringing new and diverse perspectives to the work Framework does.

Some of the volunteering opportunities at Framework include:

Befriending: helping isolated individuals access social activities within the community and broadening their social networks.

Mentoring: working alongside key-workers to help vulnerable people achieve their specific goals.

Mentor +: Assisting Framework Support Workers to provide the best possible service to service users.

Administration Volunteer: Providing administration support to services across Framework.

Kitchen Assistant: Assisting with providing meals at accommodation services or volunteering at Bitesize, Frameworks catering social enterprise business.

Handy Person: work along side the FIXiT Team providing practical DIY support to help people remain in their homes.

Driver: volunteer with the Furniture Donations Service or with Bitesize.

Speakers: spread the word about the excellent work that Framework does by talking to local groups.

Case study Writer: Using your creative flair to tell the stories of people who use Framework services.
